Qalbii is a marriage app for Muslims. Every member is ID-checked. You take the journey to nikah step by step, and you can involve your family when you are ready.

Adults aged 18 and over who are not married and are looking for a spouse. Qalbii is open to adults in the UK at launch. At first we are letting people in from the waitlist in batches.

Download the app, then sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your phone or email. There are no passwords. You prove both your mobile number and your email, answer a few questions, add your photos, take the Sacred Oath and check your ID with a live selfie.

There is a Free plan. It includes the ID check, all 150 compatibility questions and Home, with small limits on likes and new chats. Gold, Diamond and Private add more. See the Plans page.

In the app you upload your ID and take a live selfie. An ID service checks them. If it cannot confirm them, a trained moderator checks. Nobody sees your profile until you are checked.

Changing your phone number or email needs a code on both. If you sign in on a new phone, we email you an alert. If you lose both your phone and your email, email support@qalbii.com. You will do a new ID check, then get new codes.

In the app, open Profile, then Settings, then Account, then Delete. You have 30 days to change your mind. If you cannot sign in, ask us on the Delete your account page.

Home shows one person at a time. Everyone you see is ID-checked, and your sects have to fit each other. Filters for age, distance and sect are free. If you like each other, it is a match.

There are 150 questions across ten areas of married life, free for everyone. The first ten are needed to start, and you can skip the rest. Your fit with someone shows as a word, and as a percentage once there are enough answers.

Tap Likes. You can see who liked you (Free plans see how many), and your matches are there too. New matches also appear at the top of Messages.

It has seven steps, from Talking to Nikah. One of you asks if you are ready for the next step and the other accepts, so you both agree each one. There is no rush.

With your match's OK, you send your family a private, view-only link. It works for 72 hours and shows a first name, age, photos and a few details such as town area, profession, education, prayer and marital status.

It means an ID service checked the member's ID and a live selfie. It does not mean we have vouched for them or run a background check.

Open their profile, a chat or a match page, then use the menu to report or block. They are not told it was you. In a hurry, tap Get help now in a chat's menu, or call 999.

You can hide your photos until you like someone back. Contact details stay hidden in chat until you both choose to share them.

An automatic check looks at every photo before others see it. A person looks only at photos the check flags. Your main photo must show your face clearly and alone, and match your ID selfie.

Qalbii has Free, Gold, Diamond and Private plans. The Plans page shows what each includes. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.

On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Qalbii, Cancel Subscription. On Android: the Google Play app, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Qalbii, Cancel subscription. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.

Find events in the app under Explore, then Events, and book there. You pay by card. Your ticket has a QR code to show at the door. If you cancel at least 72 hours before, you get a full refund.

Private is for people who want more personal help, such as a matchmaker, when available. You apply, and our team talks it through with you. The price is agreed with you, never shown.
